GM Expectations:

We ask each GM to run two slots of a four hour game for six or more players, ideally games that are still being actively supported by their publisher. Both slots do not have to be the same game; we just ask for two slots total. Of course, if you are running an event that demands, and can reasonably attract, a dozen or so players, that would be adequate, too. Conversely, if a game is insufficiently popular to merit multiple slots in a convention of OwlCon's size, the Gaming Coordinator may ask you to modify your submission.

We encourage GMs to run events in such a way to accommodate beginners, but we prefer that corporate demo-style gaming be handled by dealers at/near their tables; if you're not sure, ask the Gaming Coordinator.

We expect our GMs to keep their commitments. Do not promise to run games if you cannot reasonably keep that promise. When GMs back out of running games, it hurts OwlCon attendees and the quality of the convention in general. If an unforeseen emergency requires you to cancel, please give us the courtesy of plenty of notice so we can try to give all of our participants the best gaming experience possible.

We ask our GMs to be on time, polite and helpful. This enhances the OwlCon experience for players, GM's and staff alike. We also ask that GMs be mature, and with very few exceptions, we require GMs to be 18 or older.
