Cthulhu Live!

The King In Yellow: the final rehearsal 6-30 players
starts Sat. 2400 Beginner

Note: This is a special event and requires a Special Events pass.

Set in Berlin at the end of WWII, as the world's Powers negotiate "final peace." This game does not use most of the published C'thulhu Live rules. This is a specially designed game for Owlcon 2004 and the Keepers have crafted the rules in order to maximize the flow of roleplaying. Think "theatre." After all, you are playing an actor ("I'm not an actor, but I play one on stage") in a Theatre company. The rules for this C'thulhu LARP are dependent upon props, and to a lesser extent, the Keepers. Costumes and over-acting encouraged!

Player Gear: All players are totally encouraged to provide a little something that is appropriate for costumes, with the time period being the close of WWII and the place being Berlin. Since it is the ending of the war, with all the great Powers of the world present for negotiation, both Military and Civilian attire is welcome.

Remarks: For beginners at Live Action and the Mythos (ie, Call of Cthulhu). We have plenty for more advanced players as well. Bring your appetite for horror, good food, period costumes, and over-acting. This game runs late into the night (early into the morning).

STARS (Vampire/World of Darkness)

World of Darkness LARP 20 - 50 players
Fri 2400 Beginner

The year is 1927 in Chicago. Prohibition is in full force. The landscape is dotted with illegal store fronts, bootlegeers, and organized crime. However, underneath it all, the kindred world continues its own political agenda.

After a recent and brutal attack on the Camarilla stronghold of Chicago, the Prince has called an emergancy gathering in his nightclub, The Crimson Tiger, to discuss the rather agressive move by the Sword of Caine and to assess the next steps to counter this. What are the Sword planning next?

This will be a Camarilla-based Vampire LARP set in Chicago in the late 1920s. Players are encouraged to costume for the time period. Whether you want to be a gangster, a bootlegger, or even a commoner, all are encouraged.

Characters will be pre-made but will be easily left to be customized to your own wishes.

We will be using the rules as listed in White Wolf's MET Laws of the Night as well as the other supplements.

Come out and enjoy a night of political intrigue, action, and mystery!
