Bagration is on! The grand summer offensive of 1944 aims to erase Army Group Center and push the German army almost back to their own borders. Players command their plane and a wingman in efforts to either hasten the offensive in the Great Patriotic War against the Fascist dogs or stave off frontal collapse from the Bolshevik hordes. Ground strike, intercept and escort missions will all be included in several scenarios. The faster the birds fall, the more missions get accomplished. GM - Andy Blozinski

13 years of age or older to participate in this event. Alexander the Great's first battle against the Persians was a "near-run" thing, in fact, he almost died!
We will be probably use a system where each command equals a DBA army, however, I may try to learn/use the brand-new Field of Glory system.
The Persians defend a river; can they use that advantage and their excellent Greek mercenary spear to offset Alexander's command and troop quality advantages?

This year's Flames of War Tournament will consist of two separate events, a mid-war competition on Saturday and a late-war competition on Sunday. Players may enter either one or both events and bring 1500 point armies to suit. The scoring system will be refined from last year. A table terrain competition will also be featured. NOTE: You are only required to register for the first slot of this tournament, which lasts 9 hours, spanning both morning and afternoon slots. You are automatically entered into the second slot.
